Wilbur Holden, President

Wilbur began his commercial building career in 1995 with R.K. Stewart & Son as an Estimator and Project Manager. From there, he took a Project Manager position with John S. Clark Co. in Greensboro, NC, where he worked until starting Morlando-Holden Construction in 2001. As the President and Co-Owner, his company completed hundreds of projects and grew to annual sales of more than $20 million. Wilbur was responsible for the corporate operations for the business and he also acted as Project Manager for many projects.

In 2009, Wilbur founded Holden Building Company, Inc., strategically maintaining a presence in the Piedmont Triad and Charlotte/Mecklenburg County areas in order to survive the tough construction market of that time. Over the past eight years, Holden Building Company has grown to more than 20 employees and has completed over 200 projects. In addition to overseeing the operations of the entire company, Wilbur enjoys estimating, project management and being an integral part of most of the projects HBC builds. Wilbur received his BS degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and when he gets the opportunity, he still enjoys spending time with family in the Finger Lakes area where he grew up.
