Holden Building Co. was hired to convert the shell of a Ruby Tuesday’s restaurant into a new Verizon retail in Boone, NC. The job was completed at the beginning of the fourth quarter, 2015.
Pickett Elementary School
HBC just finished a $1 million addition and renovation project at Pickett Elementary School in Lexington, NC. The project consisted of adding a 4,000 sf administration area, renovations to the multipurpose room, new roofing and windows for the cafeteria and exterior modifications.
Greensboro Readiness Center
39,000 square foot renovation and 6,000 square foot new construction. Renovations included all new mechanical systems, kitchen renovation, and new blast resistant window replacement. Addition is a new free standing maintenance training facility. A masonry bearing structure, steel roof framing, EIFS/brick veneer. Interior includes tile showers areas, vehicle maintenance bay (vehicle exhaust system, air compressor) and office and classroom space.
44,300 square foot renovation converting offices, warehouse and lab areas to a new charter school for over 700 students and 100 faculty and staff. New electrical, HVAC, plumbing and sprinkler systems. All new walls, ceilings and finishes. The project also included site improvements. All completed within 90 days from receiving the building permit.
